Number sense is one of the first math skills taught in kindergarten focusing on numbers 0-10. Understanding what numbers mean and their relationship with one another.

Pencil grip plays a large role in number formation. Students should be able to write numbers up to at least 30 independently in kindergarten.

In kindergarten students will learn to compare numbers and objects. They will be expected to sort objects by shape, color, size, and textures.

In kindergarten, your child will learn how to measure objects. They will learn how to measure by height, length, weight, and volume.
